Installation Details
Most solar thermal installations can be completed in two days. A standard installation with a hot water cylinder change would go something like this.
Day One
- Drain down hot water system
- Take out old hot water cylinder
- Install new twin coil cylinder
- Install solar collectors on the roof
Day Two
- Install solar pipes, normally through the loft space, to the hot water cylinder
- Install control unit and pump station
- Charge and commission system.
Once the installation has been completed a further call to check that the system is working efficiently
